Seismic Vulnerability Assessments at Gardaland
Studio Boccuni carried out seismic vulnerability assessments of three buildings and three attractions within Gardaland, working with structures that differed in construction type, materials and operational conditions. The services included review of available documentation, surveys, investigation planning, structural modelling and safety assessment, followed by the identification of any required measures. The commission demonstrates specialist expertise applied to complex public-use structures, where safety, operational continuity and the planning of interventions must be considered together.
