IUAV University Campus in the Former ACI Building, Vicenza
The project transformed Vicenza’s former ACI building into IUAV’s new university campus for design, adapting a historic property to accommodate multimedia classrooms, laboratories and teaching spaces. Studio Boccuni developed the detailed design and construction documentation, addressing the building’s structural complexities through solutions compatible with the conservation of the historic façade and the new internal layout. By combining adaptive reuse, technical upgrading and improved energy performance, the project returned an active and strategically important building to the San Biagio district.
